Welcome to Mrs.Beauchesne's Grade 5 Class   We are in the home stretch and the students are doing amazing in this third term! They are working quickly through their work and I am constantly challenging them to put forth their best work. The students thrive on the routines that I have in place. Quite a few students are now taking the initiative to ask for more schoolwork to accomplish even more in such a short period of time! What a great work ethic! We recently finished a couple tests for Math and Socials. The students did so well! We are now starting Fractions in Math. The students will have a test on this unit on May 25 (Tentative). In Science we are currently learning all about succession and how a forest is affected by fire. They are also learning how fire is harmful but it can also be helpful. This unit ties in with what we are currently learning in Socials, which is all about resources in Canada. Stay tuned for news regarding our upcoming field trip to Barkerville.
